Naifeh, Edward Joseph, departed this life August 12, 1996. He was born in Kiefer, Oklahoma on April 3, 1920 to Joseph T. and Minnie Kraker Naifeh. He was a resident of Bristow, Oklahoma, Kansas City, Missouri and Woodward, Oklahoma before settling in Oklahoma City in 1957. Naifeh attended Oklahoma State University and served overseas in World War II from 1941 to 1945. Naifeh was an avid golfer and a charter member of The Greens Golf and Country Club. He was also a member of the Elks Club and an active member of the Sha-Babb Mens Club. 

Survivors include his beloved wife of 46 years, Virginia Massad Naifeh; sons, Frank Edward Naifeh and grandchildren, Danielle Nicole and Blake Edward Naifeh; and Dr. George Joseph Naifeh and his wife, Stacy and grandso n, Joseph Barrett Naifeh. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tommy Naifeh, Woodward, Oklahoma; sisters, Mae Naifeh, Sapulpa, Oklahoma and Rosemary White, Woodward, Oklahoma. Survived by sisters, Mrs. Julia Eddy, Kansas City, Missouri, Mrs. Inez Shadid, Memphis, Texas, Mrs. Emogene Cohlmia and husband, Casey Cohlmia, Dallas, Texas; and many loving nieces and nephews. Also, brothers-in-law, George Massad and wife, Linda, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Fred Raizh, Wilmington, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Mrs. Emily Aboussie, Altus, Oklahoma, Mrs. Penny Massad, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Mrs. Marie Aboussie, Wichita Falls, Texas, Mrs. Negla Heilman and husband, Leonard Heilman, Wichita, Kansas; and many relatives and friends who loved him dearly. For the past 30 years, he owned and operated Eddie Naifeh Liquor Store. Naifeh was a member of Christ the King Church. 

Memorials will be accepted by Carmelite Convent, 20000 County Line Road, Piedmont, Ok; St. Jude Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee; Mercy Hospice, Oklahoma C ity, Oklahoma. Wake service will be Tuesday, August 13, 1996 at 7:00 p.m. at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, 8005 Dorset Drive. 

Funeral Mass will be at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, Wednesday, August 14, 1996 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Northwest Highway.
