Elmer Leonard Neff
Rites and burial for Elmer Leonard Neff, 76 year old former bank
examiner here, will be Saturday in Seneca, Mo.
Neff died Thursday night at Wesley hospital following a brief
illness. His home was at 441 NE 14.
Born at St. Joseph, Mo., he was a cashier in banks at Afton and
Miami, Oklahoma, before moving to Oklahoma City in 1928.
For many years, he was state bank examiner here. Before retiring
11 years ago, he was employed in the mortgage risk department of
the federal housing administration.
He is survived by his wife, Ella of the home; a son Bill Neff,
Carthage, Mo.; a daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Dahl., La Crosse, Wis.;
a sister, Mrs. Robert Baze, Ponca City, and 10 grandchildren.
