Dorace "Nick" Nicholson, age 69, of Oklahoma City passed away Sunday, December 5, 1993. An area resident since 1972, he was retired from the U.S. Army with other 26 years. He was a veteran of WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. Prior to service in the army, he was in the U.S. Navy for 3 years. Nick was an elder with the Southminister Presbyterian Church, a member of the American Legion Post 73 and the VFW #9265, and had been a security guard for the First Interstate Bank.He is survived by his wife, Helen of the home; three sons, Billy Karl Nicholson of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Robert James Raber of Russelville, Arkansas, and Michael Eugene Raber of Governor's Island, New York; three daughters, Doris Nicholson of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Patricia Ann McNeil and Paula Louise Hand both of Oklahoma City; and fourteen grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held a 2 pm Wednesday at the Hunter Funeral Home with burial at Resthaven Memory Gardens, The family will receive visitors at the funeral home form 7 pm - 9 pm on Tuesday.
