OBITUARY
NORRIS - Mrs. A. N. Norris, aged 73, died Wednesday at the home of
her son-in-law, R. D. Neal on the outskirts of the city on West Twenty-third
street. The funeral occurs today, interment being at Fairlawn.
CHANEY - The funeral of Miss Mattie Chaney, aged 22, who died
Thursday at a local hospital of peritonitis, will take place today at Fairlawn
cemetery. The deceased woman's parents arrived Thursday from Emporia, Kan.
MILLER - F. P. Miller, died of apoplexy Thursday afternoon at the
home of his son, Fred B. Miller, of the Acme Milling company. The funeral services
will be held this afternoon at 2:30 at the Miller home 426 East 12th street.,
and the body will be sent to Chetopa, Kan., for burial. The deceased was a
prominent member of the Brotherhood of St. ____ and was active in support of a
missionary Sunday school in Capitol Hill. He taught his class there last
Sunday but the stroke of apoplexy came early Monday and he was not able to
rally from it.
