The graveside service for Pauline Oetinger will be at 9 a.m. Friday at Siskiyou
Memorial Park. Chaplain John Braund of Rogue Valley Medical Center Hospice will
officiate.
Mrs. Oetinger, 76, of Medford, died Tuesday (July 31, 2001) at Ashley Manor Care
Center in Medford.
She was born Sept. 23, 1924, in Oklahoma City. On March 15, 1942, in Reno, Nev.,
she married Sam H. Oetinger, who survives. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1942
from Sacramento, Calif.
Mrs. Oetinger was a certified nurses assistant (CNA) for 25 years at Rogue
Valley Medical Center, where she enjoyed her work caring for patients. She
retired in 1994.
She enjoyed baking cakes, crafts, crocheting and birds.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a son, Sam H. III, Medford; two
daughters, Juanita Guches, Eagle Point, and June Bartlett, Medford; a brother,
Bob Richardson, Sacramento, Calif.; a sister, Marie Tackett, Bakersfield,
Calif.; 12 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death
by a son, Jackie Wayne; and a daughter, Carol Ann.
