Wreck Victim Succumbs After 4 Day Fight For Life
Raymond Parks, 23, of Oklahoma City who was injured in an automobile accident on the East Highway last Wednesday night, died in the Hugo hospital at about noon Saturday.
Parks in the accident sustained internal injuries which caused his death. He also received a broken leg.
The accident occurred about a mile and a half east of the city. According to the news file the Chevrolet car in which he was riding collided with a Model T Ford late Wednesday night and he sustained the fatal injuries.
Others who were in the collision were Ron Denmark, driver of the Chevrolet car, slight bruises; Thomas Kersey, and Cleveland Johnson of Arkansas, riding in the Model T, also slightly injured.
The body will be shipped to Oklahoma City for burial, according to word from the Coffey-Campbell funeral home, but just when funeral services will be held was not announced Saturday.
Mrs. Parks was at the bedside of her husband when death occurred.
