Mrs. Esther Perry, 70, pioneer state resident, died Tuesday
after a brief illness at her home, 627 NW 3.
City resident for 13 years, Mrs. Perry was born at St. Mary's
Kan., and was married there before settling near Lambert in
1903. She lived in Shawnee 18 years before coming to Oklahoma
City in 1931.
She was a member of the Latter Rain Baptist church.
She is survived by three sons, Arch, 627 NW 3; Foster, 3245 NW
25 and Al., Los Angeles; three daughters, Clara, home address;
Mrs. S. A. Reeves, Lovington, NM and Mrs. O. A. Wallace, Calera;
two sisters, Mrs. Lena Bezanson, Striker, Ohio and Mrs. Lydia
Springer, Sheridan, Ark.; 13 grandchildren and one great
grandchild.
Services will be 2 pm Thursday at the Perrine funeral home.
Burial will be in Shawnee.
