PHILLIPS
Opal Pearl, 88, of Del City, passed away Tuesday, December 13,
1994. She was born April 21, 1906 in Capitol Hill, Ok. to
Clarence and Louella (Housh) Salathiel. Honorary member of the
United Methodist Women at Sunny Lane Methodist. She loved to crochet,
sew and quilt for her grandchildren. She published a magazine in
which there were patterns for sewing and crocheting. She
also published a cook book called "Cookies". Survived
by a son, Jack Phillips of Del City; 5 grandchildren, Sharon
Peterson of Del City, Debbie Truman of Anaheim, Ca., Jacalyn
Freno of Okla. City, Dawn Garner of Thousand Oaks, Ca. and
Crystal Taylor of Choctaw; 10 great grandchildren; a brother,
Verle Salathiel of Choctaw and a sister, Alohja Gellman of
Anaheim, Ca.; and a h ost of other relatives and friends.
Services will be Thursday, Dec. 15, 1994, 11:00 a.m. in the Bill
Eisenhour Southeast Chapel with burial in Sunny Lane Cemetery.
Rev. Paul Somerville will officiate.
