Laura Mary Louise (Malhiot) Putnam, born May 4, 1902 in Assumption, Illinois, passed away July 10, 1997.

She was married to Ralf E. Putnam for 55 years. Together they raised two daughters, Shirley Dimit and Patricia Fitzgerald both of whom predeceased her.

She is survived by grandson Mark Fitzgerald of Charlotte, NC and grandson Donald Fitzgerald and wife Vicki of Arvada, CO., two great-granddaughters Amber and Morgan Fitzgerald. A private memorial service for the family was held on July 12, 1997 at Fairlawn Cemetery.
