QUILTER, Gordon John, died May 6, 1991 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born November 17, 1900, in Salamanca, New York, moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 10 years. A graduate of Tulsa Central High, and the University of Oklahoma College of Law, a member of the distinguished law class of 1927. He entered the private practice of law in Tulsa with James W. Cosgrove, Legal Department of the Indian Territory Illuminating Oil Company, then Cities Service Gas Company of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. In 1945, with his family, he established residence in Oklahoma City, retiring from the Cities Service Gas Company in 1965. He was a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
His beloved wife, Ruth Monsees Quilter, preceded him in death in 1973.
He leaves surviving his sister, Emily Jensen; his daughter, Emily Quilter Drew, son-in-law, Rollin E. Drew, and two grandchildren, Annie and Molly Drew, all of Oklahoma City.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 11, 1991, at 11:00 a.m.,
