Asserting that since April of this year her husband has been
cruel to her, has called her "a damn fool' and "a
thief." Mrs. Marie Rodesney, 615 Douth Dewey avenue.
Thursday file suit in the district court asking divorce from
Charles A. Rodesney. She alleges that on September 13 he struck
her a hard blow on the face and that she left home, going to her
parents in Yukon where she has lived since.
Mrs. Rodesney asks the custody of their two daughters,
Helen and Elda, $25 a month permanent alimony and a clear title
to their homestead at 615 South Dewey avenue, which she says is
worth approximately $2,000. She charges that the defendant owns
various other pieces of property, including an oil lease near
Drumright, but asks for none but the home. They were married in
Oklahoma City in February of 1992, the plaintiff's petition
states.
