Mrs. Viola Rye
Vinita - Rosary for Mrs. Viola M. Rye, 68, retired Vinita
business woman who died Tuesday in a local hospital after a
short illness, will be at 9:10 pm Wednesday in the Burchkhalter
Memorial chapel. Requiem mass will be at 9 am Thursday in the
Holy Ghost Catholic church.
Mrs. Rye, a resident of Vinita more than 40 years, owned and
operated a shop for women several years before the selling the
business last year.
Mrs. Rye, born in Edina, Mo., was a member of the Holy ghost
Catholic church and was president of the Altar and Fork club.
Survivors include three sisters, Miss Elizabeth McMahon, Los
Angeles; Mrs. Henryetta Decker, Chicago; and Miss Anatasia
McMahon, Wilmette, Ill.
