Ellen P. Salisbury

Ellen P. Salisbury, age 90 of Murfreesboro, died Friday Nov. 10, 2006 at her daughter's home, following a long battle with cancer.

She preceded in death by her parents, John Thurman Fox and Maude Fox Hultman, her husbands, Irving Englund who passed away in 1968 and John Sailsbury who passed away on Nov. 6, also by her brother, James Alvin Fox, sisters, Anita Edwards, Mary Ruth Watt and Ginger Powell.

A native of Oklahoma, she was a long time resident of Chicago and Houston, where she owned and operated monogramming shops before her retiring to Tennessee. Mrs. Salisbury was Baptist.

She is survived by her daughter, Valerie M. (Al) Hollins, granddaughter, Laura, sister, Bonnie Partridge of Manchester and many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank Alive Hospice of Murfreesboro for their support during this time. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Stephen Ministry at St. Marks United Methodist Church.

Funeral Services will be 3p.m. Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with visitation one hour before the service.
