Frank James Schmoyer , born March 30, 1906 in Fort Cobb, Ok,
attended grade and high school in El Reno and was graduated from
the University of Texas School of Business Administration,
member of Beta Alpha Psi, honorary Accounting Fraternity. He
served as Business Manager of the Oklahoma City YMCA and was
member of the Oklahoma City Lions Club. Schmoyer served in the
Army Air Force 430 AAF Base Unit. He entered private practice as
Tax Consultant from 1944-1972.
He was a member of the Crown Heights Christian Church and
served on the Board of Deacons. He is survived by his wife,
Annette Hedges; brother, Sidney Schmoyer and wife, Glennis,
Harlingen, Tx; sister, Dorothy Eggink, Tulare, Ca; and
sister-in-law, Violet Schmoyer , Hemet, Ca; cousins, Warren
Branley, Crystal Barnhart, Garret Flagg all of El Reno and Buck
Branley of California; nieces, Sidney Schmoyer Dickson, Chico,
Ca, Mary Lou Grow, Alameda, Ca and Ruth Taylor of Okla City;
nephew, Kent Swaim and wife, Kat of Wilmington, N.C. Memorials
may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
Services at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper 2:00 p.m. Monday, June
7, 1993. Interment

SCHMOYER Annette B. Hedges, age 90, long time city resident,
died January 25th. Born in Tishomingo, OK, June 13, 1908, she
moved to Oklahoma City in 1916 with her parents, William Webb
and Amanda Shores Hedges, brother, John Thomas and sister, Mary
Elizabeth. She attended the University of Oklahoma where she was
a member of Chi Omega sorority. She received her Bachelor of
Arts degree from Oklahoma City University. She was a former
employee of the First National Bank where she worked in the loan
department until she met and married Frank J. Schmoyer in 1959.
Annette was a member of the Crown Heights Christian Church,
Daughters of the American Colonists and Daughters of the
American Revolution, serving her chapter as Regent from
1992-1994. Mrs. Schmoyer is survived by her nephew, Kent Swaim
and his wife, Kat of Valencia, CA, where she had been living for
the past year. Services will be held Friday, at 10 AM, at
Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper, with internment at Fairlawn Cemetery.
