Ely Scranton.
Funeral Services for Ely Scranton, who died Saturday, were held Monday afternoon in the First Presbyterian church, with Rev. Phil C. Baird officiating. Burial was in Fairlawn Cemetery.

Scranton. who resided at 430 Went Eighth street, had been a resident of this city for 19 yers and was an active member of the Presbyterian church.

He was born in Washington, Iowa, August 18, 1862.

The surviving members of the family are Norean Scranton, of this city,  Mrs. G. L. Nesbitt of Ardmore, and Mrs. C. T. Gentry, of Davenport, Iowa, all three daughters.
