OBITUARY
Mrs. Hattie E. Skirvin, wife of W. B. Skirvin, died on Friday, March
13, 1908, at the family residence, No. 428 East Eleventh street, and was
interred in Fairlawn Cemetery on Sunday, March 15.
She was born in Qundaro, Kan. (now Kansas City, Kan.), and lived the
greater part of her girlhood days at Muncie, Kan., where she was married to
William B. Skirvin. After a number of years' residence at Sturgis, Mich., the
family removed to Galveston, Tex., and resided there until their removal to
Oklahoma City, a little over a year ago. During her short residence here her
unselfish life and Christian spirit made for her many friends who mourn her
loss.
The deceased leaves besides her husband two daughters and a son - Pearl,
Marguerite and William, Jr. The sisters and brother of the deceased, Mrs. O.
W. Shepherd, Mrs. W. _ McCamish and Butler Reed, of Kansas City, were present
at the funeral.
