TWO CITY MEN DIE AS CAR SMASHES INTO UTILITY POLE

Two young Oklahoma City men died in a one-car accident in the 100 block of N. Rockwell Sunday.

Dead are: Donald Eugene Harlan, 24, of 1901 NW 10 and Daniel Durland Sledge, 22, of 604 NW 20.

Officers said Sledge was the driver of the southbound vehicle that apparantly went out of control at a high rate of speed and struck a utility pole.

Harlan suffered massive head and chest injuries and Sledge received multiple head injuries in the accident. Both were dead on arrival at Baptist Medical Center.
