Jackson A. Smith, M.D. of Waco, TX was born Oct. 21, 1917 in Oklahoma City to Omer and Belle Phillips Smith and passed away Monday, Jan. 7, 1991 in his home at 73 years of age.

He and his family moved to Cheyenne following World War II. After a short time in Cheyenne, he moved to Illinois to live until his semi-retirement when he moved to Waco.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara B. Smith of the home; 2 daughter, Penelope Ann Smith of Oakville, Ontario, Canada, Barbara Belle S. Kallenback of Columbia, MO; son, Phillip B. Smith of Ann Arbor, Michigan; 8 grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Graveside services were held Saturday, Jan. 12, 1991 at 1:00 p.m. in the Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Rose chapel Funeral service of Cheyenne in charge of arrangements.

Arrangements in Waco, TX were handled by Connally/Compton Downtown Chapel.
