Services for Hobb Smith, 70, of 2325 SW 31, will be at 2 pm Wednesday in the Capitol Hill funeral home, with burial in Chapel Hill cemetery. He died of cancer in a local hospital Saturday.

     Born in Texas, Smith came to Oklahoma in 1889, setting near Hobart. He farmed there until 1921 when he moved to Oklahoma City. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

     Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Roy Franklin, 4002 E Reno; Mrs. Giles Barber, 3102 S Indiana; Mrs. T. J. McKee, 640 SW 47; Mrs. L. L. Reynolds, Wheatland, and Mrs. Leonard Rolston, Los Angeles, Calif. There are also four sons, Lowell Smith, 2100 SW 61; Leeman Smith, 818 SW 30, Andrew Smith, Quapah; and Jack Smith, Bellflowser,Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Maggie Howard, Hyrdro; a brother, Tim Smith, Cache; 22 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
