MEEKER - Funeral services are today for a 2-year-old Meeker girl whose death is under investigation by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.  Kelsey died Oct 11, 2005.

Pottawatomie County District Attorney Richard Smothermon said the investigation into Kelsey Briggs ' death has been "extremely complicated" and declined to comment further.

Authorities say Kelsey was killed by blunt force trauma to her stomach. No arrests have been made in connection with her death.

Funeral services for Kelsey are scheduled for 2 p.m. at the Meeker Assembly of God Church, 209 E Main. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery in Meeker.

Kelsey 's stepfather, Michael Lee Porter reported the child appeared to have had a seizure.  Mother Raye Dawn Smith.
