Marcie Snyder, 53, of Luther, Oklahoma, peacefully left this world on Saturday, April 7, 2007, after eight courageous years battling cancer. Married to Ron Snyder for 21 years, Marcie raised three children, Mary Boone, Aaron Morehead, and Ethan Gardner. A member of the Kiowa, Cheyenne, and Pine Ridge Sioux tribes. 

Marcie is survived by her father, Carl Gardner; sister, Becky Gardner; and brothers: Michael Gardner and Paul Gardner. Marcie was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Gardner, and son, Daniel Morehead. As a secretary at Kerr-McGee for twelve years, Marcie formed lifelong friendships that brought laughter and inspiration beyond the workplace for many years. Marcie's friends and family will always remember her serving nature, love of children, and ability to bring laughter to any situation. The family would like to thank the Luther Church of Christ for their support as well as Dr. Rahe and his Oncology staff at Saint Anthony's Cancer Care Center for their loving care. 

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, April 11, 2007, at 2:00 pm, at the Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home with internment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Viewing will be on Tuesday, April 10, 2007, 2:00pm - 9:00 pm, with a formal visitation from 5:00pm - 8:00 pm.
