George L. Stiles, an 89er and former resident of Oklahoma City, died of
heart disease Wednesday at his home in Los Angeles, Calif. During 1916
Stiles was a member of park commissioners and a member of the Lions club.
Stiles was the
son of Capt. Daniel F. Stiles. He left Oklahoma City in 1923 to enter
business in Los Angeles.
Stiles with his brother, Charles and his mother,
Mrs. Margaret Stiles, who died several years ago, operated the Stiles Florist
Co.
Mrs. Wallace Lee, 2109 Northwest Eighteenth street, a sister of Mrs.
Stiles, left for Los Angeles Wednesday afternoon to attend services.
