Betty Jo "Nanny Strickland. 81, passed away April 3, 2008. Betty was involved in numerous activities including fishing, painting, sewing, and cooking. Betty’s love of life was shown through her huge smile and warm heart; her passion was her family and friends. Betty was an officer with ESA where she touched man lives through her charity events and fund raising.

She is survived by daughter, Linda Tomolonis; son James Alexander; 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; ‘her beloved wiener dog” Sammy; and special friend Vera Brazil.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Garland, sister Rosemary Madden; brother: James O’Dell, Jr.; parents: James & Elizabeth O’Dell and grandson, Matthew Alexander.

Funeral services will be 10am Tuesday at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel with interment 2 pm at Elmwood Cemetery, Hartshore, OK.
