Emma Jo Taylor, 94, passed on Dec. 31, 1995 at Mercy Hospital. She was born July 15, 1901 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Territory to and preceded in death by her parents, Emma Gertrude and Claude Nissen. Also preceded in death by her daughter, Jane Ellen Weaver, sister Claudia Stapp, 2 brothers, Bill and Jack Nissen and great-nephew Robert E. Stapp.

Survived by son William C. Taylor, Oklahoma City and son-in-law Frank Weaver, Odessa, TX. 2 grandsons; Mark Weaver and wife Shelly of Odessa, TX., and Robert Taylor and wife Lisa of Grapevine, TX. 5 great-grandchildren; Holly, Josh, and John Weaver of Odessa, TX., Joey and Alek Taylor of Grapevine, TX, nephew Floyd Stapp and his sons John and Steve and his wife Serena of Phoenix, AZ., sister-in-law Lolita Nissen and niece Nita and husband Jack Morris, all of Wichita Falls, TX., and a host of friends.

She was a member of the First Christian Church in Norman although she was inactive for the past several years. After retiring from John A. Brown, she became a nanny to many children in Norman who loved her dearly. She will be missed by all. Services Wednesday 1 p.m. Hunter Funeral Home.
