ETOWAH -- Leonard John Truelove died Saturday, July 17, 1999, in an area
hospital. He was 87.
Mr. Truelove was a native of Oklahoma City and was a resident of Etowah for 70
years. He was a member of North Etowah Baptist Church and of the Etowah Masonic
Lodge 653. He was a bus driver and a veteran of the U.S. Army
serving in World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Roxie Wilson Truelove; and two sisters,
Evelyn Davis and Flossie Gilbert.
Survivors include his two daughters...; four sons...; 15 grandchildren, 12
great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren..
Services will be today at 8:30 p.m. at Bordwine Funeral Home, South...Burial
will be Monday at 10 a.m. at McMinn Memory Gardens.
