Urquhart, Myra, age 69, went home to be
with the Lord on March 6, 2006 after a long illness. She was
born Jan. 19, 1937 in Tahlequah, Okla. to Henry and Omah Tye.
She resided in Midwest City with her husband, Layton of 51
years, where they raised three children Sheri Ruzycki of Jones,
Okla., Danny Urquhart of Detroit, Mich. and Debra Hernandez of
Dallas, Texas. She has four grandchildren and five
great-grandchildren.
Myra is preceded in death by her sisters
Margaret Butler, Lillie Heirs and Ida Ryder. She is survived by
sisters, Laura Hall and Clara Johnson; and brothers, Gene Tye
and Henry Tye. Myra was a homemaker and a Bivocational
minister’s wife who enjoyed sewing, painting, jewelry making and
crafts. She will be greatly missed by her many treasured friends
and other family members.
Funeral services were 10 a.m. Wednesday,
March 8, 2006 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel burial followed
at Arlington Memory
