OBITUARY
VAN DYKE - Frank M. VanDyke, for two years superintendent of the
Oklahoma county farm, died Tuesday morning from yellow jaundice. Deceased is
survived by a wife and four children. Funeral services will be held Wednesday
afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, from the home. Interment at Fairlawn cemetery.
THORPE - Vera Gertrude Thorpe, aged two years, 603 West Chickasha
avenue, died Monday afternoon from diphtheria. Funeral from the residence.
FERGUSON - L. L. Ferguson died at the local hospital Monday. Stomach
trouble was the cause given by the physicians, the man having been ill for a
number of years. The body was sent to Ripley, Okla., where the funeral was
held Tuesday.
SMITH - James Smith, aged 60, died at his home, east of the city.
Tuesday morning, from pneumonia. Funeral Wednesday afternoon at 2;30 o'clock
from the home. Interment at Fairlawn cemetery.
TAYLOR - Alice Taylor, aged 36, died at her home, six miles south of
the city, Tuesday morning. Funeral Wednesday at 2:30 o'clock. Interment at
Fairlawn cemetery.
