Joseph "Jack" A. Von Rissen, 82, of Edmond, Oklahoma passed away August 29, 2002. Born September 9, 1919, in Cincinnati, OH...US Army Air Corps during World War II...retiring from Tinker Field...moved to Lake Tenkiller...Betty Lou Van Rissen, wife of 59 years, sister Betty Tulley, of Cincinnati, OH: sister-in-law, Esther Friesen, of Henderson, NE; daughters Donna Altmiler and husband Bob of Edmond, OK, Debi Richardson and husband David of Manvel, TX and Lori Cope and husband Mike of Manvel, TX; grandchildren, Mrs. Erin Connel and daughter Audrey Connel of Manvel, TX, Joanna and Mike Combs and daughter Madison of Oklahoma City, OK, Kristin Yoes of Oklahoma City, OK, Laura Richardson of Manvel, TX, Samantha Richardson of Manvel, TX, and Lindsey Altmiller of Oklahoma City, OK; along with numerous relatives in Cincinnati, OH. Memorial service will be held on Monday, September 2, 2002, at 10 am at All Soul's Episcopal Church in the chapel of St. Mary.
