Gail I. Wall, was born March 17, 1914 and died Feb. 28, 2006
at the Norman V.A. Center in Norman, Okla. His parents Art and
Lillie Wall and one brother Earl Wall are deceased.
Surviving Gail are three brothers Harold Wall of Choctaw,
Artie Wall of Yukon and Raymond Wall of Oklahoma City, Okla.;
three sisters Goldie Nelson of Jones; Mildred Wade of Blanchard
and Betty Goyer of Luther.
Also surviving are nine nieces and eight nephews. Gail was
raised on a farm southeast of Edmond. He served his country in
the Army Infantry during WWII receiving an honorable discharge
on March 5, 1945 having served in European, African and Middle
East Theatre. He received a Bronze Star and a Good Conduct
Medal. Gail was taken Prisoner of War in North Africa and was in
a prison camp in Italy for nine months. Since July 11, 1995,
Gail has made his home at the Norman V.A. Center. Gail received
the Lord into his heart late in life. We will always miss his
kind and gentle ways.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 3,
2006 at Oakwood Cemetery, Edmond, Okla. located two miles East
of I-35 on S.E. 15th Street.
