Henry Walter; Retired Oilfield Driller Is Dead

Henry M. Walter, 81-year-old retired oilfield driller of 109 SE 25, died 
Friday afternoon in Capitol Hill General Hospital. Services are pending at 
Hunter Funeral Home.

Walters, a native of Pennsylvania, came to Oklahoma City from Enid 25 years 
ago. He retired in 1926.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. James Fenelon, of Purcell; Mrs. W D Fair, 
of Mesa, Ariz; Mrs. Lewis Leyea, of Vernon, Texas, and two grandchildren.

Henry M Walter

Rites for Henry M Walter, 81, of 109 SE 25, will be at 10:30 am Monday in the 
Hunter Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Resthaven cemetery.

A retired oil field driller Walter died Friday in the Capitol Hill General 
Hospital. He was a native of Pennsylvania, and moved to Oklahoma City from 
Enid 25 years ago.
