Wister Rites Planned Today For B. N. Wann
Wister - Jan 22 - Funeral for Benjamin Newton Wann, 74 year old
Wister area farmer and rancher, will be at 2:30 pm Wednesday in
the Glendale Baptist church. Wann died Sunday in his home.
A resident of this area, since 1931, he moved here from
Arkansas. He was a member of the Missionary Baptist church here.
Surviving are his wife, Lula; three sons, Farmer of Tom;
Gaylord, Pocola; and Collidge, Poteau; four daughters, Mrs.
Baysul Balentine, Fanshawe; Mrs. Luther Wedge, Wister; Mrs.
Clayton Andrews, Heavener, and Mrs. Hosea Gatlin, El Centro,
Calif.; four brothers, Finis and Omer, both of Wister, Cleaver,
Booneville, Ark., and Tom, Ozark, Ark.; 10 grandchildren and six
great great grandchildren.
