He was born October 1, 1919, in Max Creek, MO, to Mary and John Earl Warner. He grew up in Drumright, OK and graduated from Pleasant Hill High School. Glen married his loving wife, Evadna Whitlow, June 24, 1939. Young Glen Warner worked with Mid Continent Oil Company "Uncle Mid" until answering the call to serve his country as a member of the U.S. Army on Okinawa in WWII. Glen also worked as a real estate agent with M&M Klepper Real Estate.
Glen became an ordained deacon with the First Baptist Church, Drumright, OK, on June 27, 1952 and served countless roles with First Baptist Churches of Drumright, OK and Purcell, OK. He taught Sunday School and considered his class as true friends in Christ. Glen and Evadna were inseparable and there were no activities or adventures in life they did not share together. His love for his daughters, Glenna Jean and Abby, was apparent every day. His grandchildren became his passion and his time with them was his joy. His faith in Jesus and dedication to the Lord was seen by all that knew and met him. Until his death, Glen continued to enjoy celebration of his faith, the love of his wife and family, and the joy of Sooner basketball and football.
