Stella Verna Knight (Grandma Bus) Watson, 95 yrs., peacefully
passed away on July 9, 2009. She was born in Woodward, OK the
youngest of nine children. She made a career as a private
seamstress and was a member of the Women's Business and
Professional Club. Stella was a devoted mother, who enjoyed
playing cards, dancing, listening to country music, cooking and
spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a lively woman with a great sense of humor.
She was preceded in death by her parents Loren E. and Della
M. Knight, her husband Edwin Watson and her eight siblings. She
is survived by her daughter Cheryl and husband John Leon, her
four grandchildren (Ashley, Joe, Maggie, John) and her six
great-grandchildren.
A graveside service at
Fairlawn Cemetery,
located at NW 27th & Shartel, is scheduled for Friday, July 18th
at 10:00am.
