Barbara Ann Johnston Weeks, age 55, died Jan. 8, 2000, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, from an aneurysm. She was born Aug. 6, 1944, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to Otis Lee Johnston and Ruby Gaddy Johnston. She married Bob Weeks on Aug. 23, 1963, in Broken Arrow.

Barbara worked in her family's turkey farm business, and was active in her church life. She graduated from Catoosa High School and completed her degree in Home Economics at Northeastern State College in Tahlequah.

She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, and collecting.

She is survived by her husband, Bob; 2 sons, Bob Don Weeks of Nephi, and Mat Taylor Weeks of Springfield, Missouri; mother, Ruby A. Johnston of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; 2 sisters, Caryol Smith of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and Marcella Pense of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and 8 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Otis Johnston, and a daughter, Tawna Weeks.

Funeral services were held Jan. 11, 2000, in Anthony, Kansas. Interment in Bixby Cemetery, Bixby, Oklahoma.
