Born in Middlesboro, KY, May 28, 1911, Lola had lived in OKC since 1931 coming from Ashland, KY. She and her husband had operated several groceries in the area... She was a member of the First Methodist Church of OKC... Preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James T. "Honest John" Runyon; 1 son, Oceail Tillman Wheeler. Survivors include husband, Oceail; sons Ronald E. and Lawrence A. Wheeler, both of OKC, a daughter, Berdenia Jones of Houston, a son Darrel E. Wheeler of Del City; 2 sisters, Lela Stricklin Holland, Evelyn Harris and 1 brother, Earl Runyon, all of OKC; 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren. Services directed by Vondel L. Smith & Sons.
