Widow of Pastor Dies Here at 82

Mrs. Nancy Jame Wheeler, 82, died late Monday of cancer at her home, 2804 SW 35. She had been ill the past eight years. Services are pending at Watts Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wheeler was born in Lawrence County, KY and moved to Oklahoma City 16 years ago. She was the widow of Rev. A. J. Wheeler, a retired minister who died here in 1953.

A member of the Baptist church, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Sarah McLaughlin, 32 NE 10; six sons, W. J., 920 NW 12; Oceail, 335 NE 15; Herman, 708 SE 20; Elmer, 2808 SW 35; Enoch, Blaine, KY; and Walter, Ashland, KY; two brothers, Jim Cordle, Blaine; and Walter Cordle, Ashland, a sister Molly Cordle, Ashland, and 35 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
