OBITUARY
WOLF - Anna M. Wolf, who died June 3, was born in Germany April 11,
1837 and came to this country with her parents at the age of 7 years. She was
a member of the German Methodist Episcopal church. She was aged 73 years, one
month and 23 days. She was married to Jacob Brucker, February 8, 1863, at
Washington, Tazewell county, Illinois. To this union nine children were born,
five boys and four girls, of which two boys and boy girls are dead. The
deceased is survived by her husband and five children. The children are Daniel
Brucker, Mrs. Lydia Zeliff, August Brucker, Mrs. Mathilda Zenor and Charles
Brucker. The services were held at the Pilgrim Congregational church and the
sermon was preached by the pastor, the Rev. Thomas H. Harper.
The funeral of Mrs. Margaret Tracy-Pettijohn, who died Thursday at
the age of 75 years, was held Friday from the residence of her daughter. Viola
Pettijohn, 321 North Phillips avenue. Mrs. Pettijohn was visiting her
daughter, having been in the city but two months. Five children survive, Mrs.
Dora E. Wilson, Oklahoma City; U. S. Grant, Seattle, Wash.; Ira Sherman,
Millville, Pa.; Viola M., Oklahoma City, and Sheridan M., Muncie. Ind.
Miss Dorris Wallerstedt
Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Darling of Oklahoma City will return to Oklahoma City
today from Guthrie with the body of Miss Dorris Wallerstedt, who died in that
city Saturday.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 this afternoon from the residence of
Nelson Darling, 127 West Tenth street. Miss Wallerstedt is the daughter of a
sister of Mrs. Darling. She was 14 years old. Upon hearing of her illness, Mr.
and Mrs. Darling, accompanied by Dr. R. M. Howard, drove to Guthrie Saturday
in an automobile in the hope that an operation would save the girls life. She
had passed away before the party reached the capital, however.
