Sapulpa Railroad Man Drinks Carbolic Acid
A. R. Workman, a railroad man, of Sapulpa, committed suicide here
Sunday night by drinking an ounce phial of carbolic acid. The cause is
believed to have been financial troubles. Workman was found in his room, at
814 1/2 West First street, early Monday morning, by a maid, who was attracted
to the room by his groans. Coroner Oldfield was called, and ordered the body
taken to the Street & Draper morgue.
Workman bore letters addressed to him at Sapulpa, Coffeyville, El Paso and Amarillo.
He had a sister, Valla, living at Sapulpa and a brother in Denver.
