Terry W. Wright, of McLoud, Okla., age 57, was born Nov. 2, 1948, in Shawnee, Okla. He was the son of John M. and Martha Ann (James) Wright. He went home to be with the Lord on March 1, 2006, in Shawnee, Okla. Terry attended Shawnee Schools. Terry married Maxine Matthews on April 6, 1974 in Bethany, Okla. He worked at the Wilson Meat Company and was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Newalla.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Maxine Wright; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Patrick Wright, Marble City, Okla., Lonnie Wright, Sallisaw, Okla. and Matthew and Kimberly Wright, Newalla, Okla.; two daughters, Lynette Wright, Midwest City, Okla. and Alicia Wright, Newalla, Okla.; one brother, Gene Wright, Tecumseh, Okla.; one sister, Wanda Chapman, Chickasha, Okla.; seven grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Services were at 10 a.m. Monday, March 6, 2006, at the First Baptist Church in Newalla Okla. Rev. Griff Henderson, Rev. Bill Derrick and Chaplain Roy Barker officiated.

Interment followed at noon at the Tecumseh Mission Cemetery, Tecumseh, Okla. Services were under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, Okla.
