York, Wenona Freeman, age 79, died Friday in an Okla. City convalescent home. Born Jan. 10, 1912 at Coleman, Okla. She was reared in Ardmore.

Preceded in death by her husbands Frank B. Freeman in 1967 and Cecil B. York in 1981. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Ardmore Philharmonic Club and the Ardmore Little Theatre. She had lived in Okla. City for the last eight years.

Survivors include a daughter Nan K. Frates, OKC, 2 brothers Col. C. W. Guy, Tacoma, WA, E.C. Guy, San Diego, CA, a sister Alvena Guy Rogers of Enid, OK, 3 grandchildren Nan Keith Frates, Crested Butte, CO, Robin Lynn and Clifford Freeman Frates of Los Angeles, CA. Memorial services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Retirement Inn at Quail Ridge, 12401 Trail Oaks Dr., Okla. City
