Helen Irene Youngblood, of Choctaw, OK went to be with Jesus
on February 1, 2007 at age 90. She was born on June 14, 1916 in
Edmond, OK to Frank August and Frances (Kuper) VonElm . She
graduated from Edmond High School. She married John Orville
Youngblood on October 21, 1935. Helen was a member of the Our
Lady of Fatima Church in Nicoma Park, OK. She was a member of
the Sweetwater Social Club, Cow Bells, Young at Heart, Choctaw
Lioness, and the Catholic daughters. Helen was a loving woman
who took care of a lot of people in her lifetime.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers,
4 sisters, and 1 grandson.
She is survived by 3 sons: Roy Youngblood and wife Faye of
Jones, OK, Ralph Youngblood and wife Barbara of Choctaw, OK, and
John Youngblood and wife Debbra of Blanchard, OK; 11
grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 3
great-great-grandchildren; 1 sister and brother-in-law, and
numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She will be missed by all.
A Rosary was held on Sunday, February 4th, 2007 at 6:00 pm at
Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home Chapel, 8805 N.E. 23rd.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, February 5th,
2007 at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Nicoma Park, OK.
