MRS.
ETHEL MARIE BRINSON
Mrs. Ethel Marie Pool Brinson, 61, a city
resident for 46 years, died Monday at St. Anthony hospital. She
had been ill four weeks.
Rites are slated for 10 a.m. Thursday in
Watts funeral chapel. Burial will be in
Memorial Park
cemetery.
A storekeeper in depot supply at Tinker
field for 14 years, Mrs. Brinson became ill with leukemia in
November. She had been in critical condition for several days.
She was a native of Somerset, Ky., and came
to Oklahoma City I in 1910. She attended Central State college,
Edmond, for a time, and went to work at Tinker in 1942. Her
husband, Harvey E. Brinson, is also a Tinker employee.
Mrs. Brinson, a member of First Baptist
church, lived at 314 Harrison.
In addition to her husband, surviving are
a daughter, Mrs. Roy Lasiter, Oakland, Calif.: a son, Robert
Phoenix, St. Louis, Mo.; three grandchildren: a sister-, Mrs.
Charlie Alexander, Huntington Park. Calif., and four brothers,
H. M. Combest, Laverne, Calif.; A. P. Combest San Carlos,
Calif., and Oliver Combest.
