Eual Stanton Cook, age 79, from Oklahoma City, passed away July 11, 2010 as the result of a tragic car accident. Eual was born March 22, 1931 to Artie and Maudie Mae Cook in Oklahoma City.

Eual proudly served in the US Army and Korean War from 1949 to 1952. Eual had retired as a painter at OU Health Science Center. He was a councilman for Nicoma Park in 1994 and 1995. Eual was also Mayor of Nicoma Park in 1999.

Eual is preceded in death by his parents, Artie & Maude; brothers, Lowen and Druary Cook; and sister, Velma Buckles. Eual leaves behind to cherish his memories, daughter Susie White & husband Vernon, and daughter Carol Mosier; son Jon Cook; sister Alma Conner; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 10:00 am Friday, July 16, 2010 at Hibbs Funeral Home with interment following at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
