Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home
November 16, 2010

William Sherman Holt, 79, passed away November 15, 2010, after a long illness. He was born March 14, 1931 in Marlow, OK to Elbert Ben and Margarett Irene (Rousch) Holt. On March 21, 1952 he married Norma June Freudenrich who passed away in 1997. Bill married Georgia Butler in 2001. 

He was a member of Nicoma Park Methodist Church for 45 years.
He served 3 years in the U.S. Army. He was wounded in action in the Korean War and was awarded the Purple Heart Medal, Korean Service Medal, and the Combat Infantry Badge and was honorably discharged August 31, 1952. He retired from Tinker AFB in March of 1987 after 35 years of service. 

He loved camping, water skiing, reading, dancing, card playing, sports, and church.

Bill is survived by his wife Georgia, son William Scott Holt, daughter Donna Ellis, 3 grandchildren: Shawna Hiscox, Brittany Holt, William Spencer Holt; 1 great-granddaughter: Abigail Hiscox; brother Tony Holt; 2 sisters: Priscilla Haugen, Shasta Johnson; 3 step-children: Greg Butler, Judy Terry, Janell Powers; 3 step-grandchildren: Courtney Wariner, Jordan Powers, and Beau Butler.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Nicoma Park United Methodist Church with interment at Elmwood Cemetery, Choctaw, OK. Fellowship following at Douglas Blvd. United Methodist Church. He loved and he was loved. For further information go to www.eisenhourfuneral.com
