Ruby Mae Jefferson born, August 23, 1939 in Tilly, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Carl and Cosby Ragland. Ruby was called to be home with her Lord, April 23, 2004.

Her parents, husband of 40 years Thurman "Pop", and their daughter Teresa Tripp preceded her in death. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.

She is survived by one son, Carl Jefferson of Midwest City; three daughters, Tami Uhlich of Cleveland, Tonya and Robert Higgins of Deer Creek, Tara and Jim Corbett of Guthrie; son-in-law Tony Tripp of Midwest City; 13 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; one sister, Ramona and Lelis Pack of Tilly, Arkansas; one brother, Buddy and Jean Ragland of Atkins, Arkansas; and many nieces and nephews.

After 23 years of service to Tinker Air Force Base, Ruby then retired to pursue her hobbies in needlework, gardening and antique collecting. She delighted herself in traveling with her sister. Her greatest joy was the ambiance of the holiday season, with the entire family gathering as she prepared wonderful meals and extravagant desserts. She is deeply loved and missed by her children.
