LeBarre, 78-year-old resident of Choctaw, OK, passed away on
Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010 in Midwest City, OK. Born March 28, 1931
in Lawton, OK, he was the son of Frank Lewis LeBarre and Myrtle
Bernice Kopepassah LeBarre. A veteran of the Korean Conflict he
had been a resident of Choctaw, OK since 1977 and had attended
the Downtown Baptist Church in Oklahoma City for many years.
Billy was a proud member of the Comanche Nation. He loved his
kids and his grandkids above all else and was an avid
outdoorsman who loved to fish, go swimming, camp, and just be in
the outdoors. As a youngster he set a state record in swimming
that still holds to this day.
He was preceded in death by his parents
and 2 brothers, Frankie and Joe C. LeBarre.
Survivors include his wife, Billie
Beatrice LeBarre of the home; 3 sons, Billy LeBarre and his wife
Linda of Harrah, OK, William Lee LeBarre and his wife Linda of
Del City, OK, Joe C. LeBarre and wife Brenda of Oklahoma City,
OK; 4 daughters, Neva and husband Mark Minter of Noble, OK,
Frankie and husband Rudy Herrera of Shawnee, OK, Lavetta and
husband Gary Spain of McLoud, OK, and Bernice and husband Edward
Posada of Nicoma Park , OK; 20 grandchildren; many
great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Neva Cardenas of Independence,
MO, Barbara Kaudle-Kaudle of Lawton, OK, and Dottie Dorsal of
Tulsa, OK; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00
p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast
Chapel in Oklahoma City, OK with Mr. Marty Kessler officiating.
Following military honors burial will be at
Arlington Memory
Gardens in Midwest City, OK.
