Clara Mae Myers, 78, was called to be with Jesus on March 28, 2009. She was born Jan. 31, 1931 in Oklahoma City, OK to Shirley Morrison and Norene Busbee. Clara Mae was a loving wife, devoted mother and caring grandmother who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Monty; sister, Maxine Whitaker; sister-in-law, Tillie Baker; brothers-in-law, Carl Whitaker, Dan Myers and Buddy Myers; nephews, Steve Whitaker and Randy Malone.

She is survived by her wonderful husband of 59 years, Ted of the home; sons, David and Donna of OKC and Roger and Kathi of OKC, OK; sister, Dollie and Ernie Malone of OKC, OK; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. Viewing will be held from 4-8 PM at the funeral home. Services to celebrate her life will be held Thursday, April 2, 2009, at 2:00 PM, Vondel Smith South Colonial Chapel with burial to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
