Maybelle Provine , 90, of Midwest City, died peacefully March
10, 2010 in her home. She was born November 7, 1919 in
Arkadelphia, AR to Arthur David & Mamie Emily Meador. She came
to Midwest City in 1949. She married Joseph Allan Provine on
November 2, 1941 in Arkadelphia, AR. She earned a Bachelor of
Science in Mathematics from Ouachita Baptist College in 1940 and
a Masters from the University of Oklahoma in 1965. Maybelle was
an active member of First Baptist Church Midwest City since
1949. She was devoted to her family, students and friends.
She is survived by three sons: Joe &
wife, Lorraine; Bob & wife, Royetta; John & wife, Laurel; two
daughters: Janet & husband, Jim Atterbury; and Nancy & husband,
Mike Hill; 17 grandchildren, & 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband
in 1983. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 15,
2010, at First Baptist Church, Midwest City, with interment at
Sunny Lane Cemetery. Visitation with the family is 7 - 9 p.m.
Sunday, March 14, 2010, at Bill Eisenhour Southeast.

A. 67, Midwest City, passed away Saturday at Midwest City
Hospital. Services Monday 2:30 p.m. First Baptist Church of
Midwest City with interment at
Sunnylane. He was born October
11, 1915, at Big Creek, Miss. He was a retired chemist at Tinker
AFB for 22 years, retired in 1971. He was a member of First
Baptist Church, Midwest City, army veteran of WWII. He was a
Mason.
He is survived by his wife, Maybelle of the home, 3 sons,
Dr. Joseph A. Provine , Jr. of Ponca City, Robert D. Provine of
Midwest City & Dr. John E. Provine of Enid, 2 daughters, Mrs.
James D. (Janet) Atterbury of Comfort, TX & Mrs. David M.
(Nancy) Hill of Oklahoma City, 2 brothers, Dr. Eugene Provine of
Arkadelphia, Ark & Robert F. Provine of Collinsville, MS, 2
sisters, Ruth Provine & Kathryn Provine of Big Creek, MS & 11
grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to Midwest City
First Baptist Church Memorial Fund or any charity. Directed by
