Claude Stemm, 64,
        Grocer, Is Dead

Claude Stemm, 64, of 226 SE 39, died Friday in Polyclinic hospital as a result of cerebral hemorrhage. Hunter funeral borne will be in charge of funeral arrangements.

Stemm, a retired grocer, had lived here since 1930. He operated the Stemm Grocery store at 3213 S Lindsey until about two years ago. He came to Oklahoma in 1909 and lived in Boswell from 1909 to 1930.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Frances Stemm, 226 SF. 39; a son, Milton of 3004 Thomas Place; a daughter, Mrs. Rubye Cope, Los -Angeles; a sister, Mrs. Vita Caddel, Guthrie, and a grandson. Leonard Cope, who is in the navy.

Burial will be in Sunny Lane cemetery.
