Steele Westbrook. 50, of 217 NW 5, former federal investigator,
state crime bureau agent and chief deputy in the business
department of the county. assessor's office, died Friday at
Presbyterian Hospital. Services will be at 2 pm. Monday at
Garrison Funeral Home with burial in
Memorial Park
Cemetery.
Born in Dierks, Ark. he had lived in Oklahoma City since 1929
and was a graduate of Central High School. lie attended Oklahoma
City University.
He was a member of Guthrie Masonic Consistory. a Shriner and
former head of Shrine Patrol and was a member of the Baptist
Church.
He had been employed in the county assessor's office for eight
years.
Survivors include a son, Gary, Tulsa; a daughter, Lori,
attending the University of Oklahoma; his father and stepmother,
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Westbrook. 1115 N Douglas Blvd.. and a
brother, Russell P., Guthrie.
